Liquid from Newspaper
You show a newspaper and you show there is nothing inside. Then you fold it three times and you pour some water from a glass into the newspaper. The newspaper is then unrolled and to the amazement of spectators, even upside down, completely overturned, the water has magically disappeared. Again, the paper is folded and water is poured into a glass.
If you ask a layman whose effects are often the most magical, the water in the newspaper is certainly one of those effects.
